Visiting On-Site At E3 Compliance

We welcome on-site visitors to attend testing and/or collaborate on engineering. We also value the safety and well being of our employees and our customers.

We are designated as an ‘essential business’
E3 Compliance is an ITAR Registered independent engineering consulting company located in downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan. We serve all industries with a focus on Automotive, Medical, Aerospace, Defense, Commercial, Consumer and Industrial.

We maintain a safe lab environment
We follow all CDC, Federal and State guidelines including those issued by MI-DHHS, MI-OSHA and local authorities. We sanitize our engineering and lab spaces daily. We also provide hand sanitizer and a hand washing station. We ask that all visitors postpone their visit if they are not feeling well and please defer your visit until you have been fever free for at least 24 hours without medication.

What to expect if visiting on-site with us
Our lab address is:  227 Winter Ave. NW, Grand Rapids, MI.  Upon arrival, please park at the main entrance shown on our locations page (BLUE LOT).  We will provide a parking pass for your vehicle so you won’t be ticketed.  You may enter through the main doors or through the side door located off of Winter Ave across from the YMCA. 

After parking, we will be happy to help you bring in any items to the EMC lab.  If you need assistance, feel free to call our main number +1 (833)-362-7474 (833-EMC-SIPI) and choose option 0, 1 or 3.  If the parking lot at the main entrance is full, you may park in either of the two lots marked in BLUE (on the map on our locations page) after picking up a parking pass from our lab staff.  There are also paid parking options at the Grand Rapids DASH LOTs colored in PURPLE (on the map on our locations page) that are within walking distance of our lab.  

Visitor & E3 Staff Footgear Policy (Effective November 1 - April 1 only)
We have implemented a footgear policy to protect the EMC chamber floors from dirt, salt and weather elements being tracked in and causing corrosion and other issues.  We are requesting all clients, visitors and staff to wear ‘lab only’ foot gear in the lab and chambers.  For those who do not have dedicated clean, dry shoes, E3 provides ‘slip on covers’ to put over your footgear at the entry ways to the lab.  Any questions or concerns about this policy can be directed to leadership.

Remote testing option
If you would prefer not to come on-site, you may consider our remote testing services where you can ship or drop off parts and we perform your testing and diagnostics for you. We provide an option to join the testing remotely using MS Teams to share test results and test setups in ‘real-time’ so we can work more collaboratively with you. Ask a staff member if you are interested in this option.
